Northern Star Quilters Guild 2012 show
This past weekend was NSQG's Annual guild show. I was able to take a few photos of the some of the special exhibits. I'm sorry hadn't had a chance to take more. It was truly a magnificent show. One of the special exhibits' paid homage to the Red and White exhibit that hung in the 69th St. Amory in NYC. The membership of our guild made 92 miniature red and whites quilt and others loaned their large R&W's for the exhibit.
The other exhibit, that I was able to photograph, was one by The FiberArt NE group. It was called Totems and the hung from the ceiling in one of the class rooms.
If I missed some of the totems I apologize. Not all the photos came out good enough for posting. And no amount of photoshopping was going to fix them. But the comments I heard from the people who where there were wonderful. Kudo's to my fellow Art quilters. You all did a bang up job.
P.S. I didn't participate in the Totem exhibit. But I did in the R&W. Also, if you would like to see a video of the show, here is the link http://youtu.be/qlTC8xTpXpU
