E Lucean Le Stella international competition
This exhibit was at the Ex Chiesa (church) San Giorgetto. It is now used for exhibits. Tomorrow I will post others that were also on exhibit, but were past winners from other shows.

Canadian quilters at the Verona show.
I had the pleasure of viewing some very interesting and beautiful quilts that were in a special exhibit in Verona. They were at Museo di Castlevecchio. These photos that I have posted does not do them justice. This first set is by Gordana Brelih

Kick Off Your Heels fundraiser
Today, instead of talking and showing you what I'm doing these days, I
would like to show you what my friend Joyce Sullivan is creating. She has
decorated a pair of heels that just tickle my funny bone. They were made
for a fundraiser to benefit the Barbara Streisand Women's Heart Center, Cedars-Sinai Hospital in LA. The auction will start on May 1st. For more information click here: Kick Off your Heels

This years FANE project
Another year and a new project for FANE (FiberArt NE)and the Mahopac Library Show. Which will be for the month of May. Any way I will have more information closer to the show. This time we decided to do something on the style of a triptych,
But not necessarily in 3's. It would have to be 2 or more mini quilts that would fit within a 14" square. Here are 2 layouts that I'm considering. Of course there is quilting yet to be done. And I'm also considering stenciling in some dragonflies with some metallic paints. Maybe with Shiva paintsticks
